FOR 500 YEARS WALFORD COURT has been sitting nestled amongst 20 acres of stream bordered Herefordshire countryside, and apart from the dismantling of the old castle on top of the motte, whose ancient stones are incorporated in the old barn and outbuildings, not too much has changed.

We have won awards for our environmental policies, and a tourism award from Heart of England. In 2008 we were the winners of the Best Breakfast of the Year in the Flavours of Herefordshire awards - and also finalists for best tea room....and we've done it again with winning Best Breakfast 2009! We also managed to pick up a "Commended " award for the Best Tearoom 2009, and in September received a silver accolade from Visit Britain - so we're feeling pretty chuffed with ourselves!
